Hello , my name is Ashley and am the proud owner of Halsey Poodles and Doodles and Executive Director for SISSA’S FOUNDATION  ( sissasfoundation.org ).  I am an AKC CGC evaluator , certified temperament Evaluator by the BAB , and Certified Service dog trainer . We have a deep passion for raising healthy, well rounded,  loving family pets,  Service , Therapy and Facility Dogs. I stared my program 15 years ago and after my sister passed away from Type 1 diabetes, I really wanted to focus on Service/ therapy  dogs ! We had always wanted to put her dog through service training but didn’t have the tools. I know the power of a dog and truly believe they are heart healers, best friends and so much more than just a dog- and so my journey began ! The puppies are cared for around the clock by myself, husband Brent and  my mom Becky  ! All of the pups are in our home but it definitely takes a village to give each pup all of the love and attention they need.  I  am committed to continuously researching and improving the dogs we breed. All of our puppies are whelped in our home and are considered our family members from the second they are born until they go home- and beyond! All puppies are raised with early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction starting at just three days old and follow the elite service dog curriculum from the Empowered Breeder Mixed with Puppy culture . We have tailored our curriculum to fit our programs specific needs.  We strive to produce very low shedding allergy friendly dogs in sizes mini, medium and standard. We also raise our gentle giant Bernese Mountain dogs. We are true believers in the Empowered Breeder/ Puppy Culture techniques to empower our pups and make sure you get a confident, well rounded, happy, healthy  puppy!
